How do you remove shade from shade?
The shade and brackets come pre-mounted into the upholstered valance. Before installing the valance, remove the shade from the brackets. To remove, lift the chain side up of the shade slightly and push the roller in the direction of the opposite bracket.
Can you outside Mount cellular shades?
Cellular shades are easy to install for an outside mount. A screwdriver is all that is needed to install your shades, or, for an easier installation, you can use a cordless screwdriver or a drill with a 1/4-inch Hex head drill bit.
Can you side mount cellular shades?
Cellular shades come standard with top mount brackets for inside mount shades. The same brackets mount to the wall behind the cellular shades if mounted as outside mount shades. Special brackets are needed for side mount applications. Most shades can be mounted to the top of the window frame.
Can you mount blinds on trim?
You can mount your blinds to the trim as long as it is flat and meets the minimum requirements for an outside mount. Mounting on the trim of the window is the easiest route because all you need to collect is the size of the trim dimensions.
How do you make a fabric roller shade?
Line up the top of the fabric shade with the cardboard tube, making sure the roller mechanism is going the right way. Hot-glue the fabric to the tube, running a bead of glue the entire length of the tube. Roll the shade once around the tube and glue again. Roll up the shade.
